IAF givin tough competetion to USAF

Did you guys had an opportunity to go and check out about the recent happenings of the Indian armed forces?...... Well i had a once in a life time opportunity to live up to my dream. I had been to the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL) at Bangalore city. I was surprised to see the staggering potential and the power which our country posses in the field of aviation, be it civil or army. The latest happening which i had found was the 'IAF Lakshay'. This unmanned aircraft is the Desi version of the 'Predator'. Predator was developed and manufactured by Boeing for the USAF 5 years ago, the technology installed in it was the reason for its critical appreciation. It had all the latest features like NVG, Infrared Target Locking , Stealth, Survey cameras and could even carry missiles for mass destruction purpose. The most interesting feature of this aircraft is even if all the missiles get used up the aircraft itself can be used as a missile in much needed situations.

The IAF Lakshay is built with almost the same features. The reason why it is more critically acclaimed than the Predator is the Stealth technology was a kept a secret by the USAF, and no one knew how it could be made. But due to the relentless efforts of our scientists the Indians made it themselves. The main difference which diversifies the Predator and Lakshay is Predator is provided with a propeller which enables it to capture good quality images, but this reduces the speed of Predator, Where as Lakshay is is provided with a jet engine enabling it to travel at supersonic speeds and cover a large range of area.

Both Predator and Lakshay were used for surveillance in Afghanistan, for spying purpose. This is just an example of the might the IAF posses, no wonder it is ranked the 4Th strongest force in the world.
